Acura North Scottsdale Will Host a Free Gas Mileage Service Clinic to Help Phoenix Drivers Save at the Pump

Scottsdale, Arizona, July 15^th, 2011 – Phoenix drivers can save money on gas prices this summer by attending the free gas mileage service clinic hosted by Acura North Scottsdale.  The clinic will be held Friday, July 22^nd and Saturday, July 23^rd, and participants will receive special pricing on services to increase the fuel economy of their vehicle.

“It is important to keep your car well maintained if you want to achieve the best gas mileage possible,” says Acura North Scottsdale General Manager, Jenny Lang.  “This is a great opportunity for customers to take advantage of special low pricing to complete important maintenance services.”

There are many different things drivers can do to help keep their vehicle in top condition so they can ensure they get the best gas mileage possible.  One way to help is to keep tires inflated to the recommended levels at all times.  This simple step can increase fuel efficiency for your vehicle by as much as 3%.  Another way to increase your fuel economy is to regularly clean the air filters.  A clean air filter gets an average of 6% better fuel efficiency than a dirty one.  If your filters are extremely dirty or clogged, drivers can get as much as a 14% increase in fuel efficiency. 

At the gas mileage service clinic held at Acura North Scottsdale, the service department is offering a special maintenance package for just $24.95.  This package includes a lube, oil change, air filter cleaning, and tire rotation and is normally priced at $79.95.  It also includes a complete vehicle inspection and diagnostic report. For even more savings, participants who test drive a car during the event can receive all of these services for just 99 cents.  Owners can also save up to 15% on any repairs or work that is completed during the event.  The clinic will begin at 8am on Friday and Saturday morning and will run through 4pm each day.  Appointments are limited, so it is recommended that anyone interested in participating should make a reservation.
