The 2010 BMW 1 Series Convertible

For drivers who value smooth power, pulse-quickening performance and intelligent design, we give you the 2010 BMW 135i. Exceptional handling, communicative steering, and a charismatic powerful engine work together to instill the type of exhilaration that can only be attributed to you and the road. We describe this feeling as pure BMW.

The 2010 BMW 1 Series convertible carries on BMW's legacy of energetically exciting drivers' cars. A choice of two smooth and powerful inline six-cylinder engines complements the well-tuned rear-wheel-drive chassis.

The 1 Series is based off the long-time favorite 3 Series, utilizing its inline six-cylinder engines. One word to describe the driving experience of the 1 Series-- fantastic. Thunderstorms are fast approaching, but don’t you worry, the cloth roof drops in a pinch over 20 seconds, and the climate-control system even offers a special topless setting.

When considering the convertible market, reviewers claim the BMW 1 Series is responsible for one of the best driver experiences around. Despite the compromise to its structure and weight, the 1 is still a blast to drive and practices the manners of a true aristocrat. Overall, the BMW 1 Series convertible's exceptional handling doesn't come at the compromise of a stiff ride. Furthermore, the 1 Series offers the BMW Active Steering system.

The significantly muscular BMW 135i convertible trim comes in a turbocharged, 3-liter inline-six that produces 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque, a lot of fight for a small dog.  The 135i is extraordinarily versatile and offers a concentrated charge of power and acceleration without any discernible turbo lag.

A six-speed manual is standard in the BMW 135i convertibles, and offers an optional six-speed automatic. The manual gearbox is praised for its accurate shift action and easily modulated clutch. The 135i gets 17 mpg city/26 mpg highway/20 mpg combined with either the manual or the automatic transmission. This 1 Series features Double-pivot spring & strut-type front suspension, Engine start/stop button, Electronic throttle control, and High-performance 4-wheel ventilated power disc brakes. Both engines require premium-grade fuel. Cargo capacity is about 8 cubic feet with the top down.

The 135i includes upgraded suspension but has its own sport package that adds the same sports seats and a thicker steering wheel.

This used Black Sapphire 535i, with just 8,309 miles can be yours for just $39,963.
